Friday, Saturday and Sunday All Day/Any Gate - Free Admission for Military Personnel
In support of the men and women who serve the United States, German Fest is pleased to offer free admission to the military personnel and their immediate family with an active military I.D. at any gate.
Active military status includes all of the Armed Forces, National Guard Reserve Units, Department of Defense (DOD) Civilian and Military dependents with proper I.D.
Free admission for children 12 years of age and under
Children 12 and under are always admitted free at any gate when accompanied by an adult.
Thursday - Free Admission For All Guests Plus 2-for-1 Coupon
Free admission all day and evening at all gates. Guests will receive a 2-for-1 coupon good for any one day of the festival while supplies last!
2010 Run to German Fest
Anyone participating in the Run to German Fest on Thursday, July 22, will receive a 2-for-1 coupon good for any one day of the festival, while supplies last.
Friday - Rollback to 1981
Friday from 4:30-6pm, we’re rolling our gate prices back to 1981 - admission is only $3!
Friday - Handicapped and an escort
Free admission from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, for handicapped individuals and one escort at any gate.
Sunday - Church Service Attendees
Free admission for all attendees to the 10:30 a.m. Protestant church service in the Marcus Amphitheater on the south end of the German Fest grounds, Sunday, July 25.
Sunday - Hunger Task Force Food Drive
Free admission at the NORTH GATE ONLY from 1:00 p.m. - 3 p.m. with the donation of non-perishable food items to benefit the Hunger Task Force of Greater Milwaukee, Sunday, July 26.
Sunday - Anniversary T-shirt Promotion
Buy a German Fest 30th Anniversary t-shirt (available on the grounds), and wear it Sunday to get into the Fest for free!

Restrictions on the Grounds
There are specific items that cannot be brought into German Fest. Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time. Currently, these items include, but are not limited to:

- Cans, glass or plastic bottles
- Alcohol
- Pets (exceptions are service dogs and dachshunds that are pre-registered for Sunday’s activities)
- Laser pointers
- Lawn chairs
- Skateboards
- Inline skates
- Coaster wagons
- Kites
- Frisbees
Wheelchairs/Strollers
A limited number of wheelchairs and strollers are available free of charge on the grounds, on a first come, first served basis. You will need a valid driver’s license and second form of ID to check one out.
