Volunteer’s Area
Consider being a volunteer!German Fest is made possible by the hard work of many volunteers. Actually, it takes over 3,000 volunteers to put on German Fest every year. Some work before the fest in set-up activities, some work after the fest for our take down effort, and many work during the fest cooking food, serving beer, working with entertainment, working at the admission gates, working in the culture area, working in the food and beverage distribution area, etc. If you have a few free hours and would like to volunteer for German Fest please contact the German Fest office at 414-464-9444.
German Fest volunteers receive free parking and a $10 voucher for food and/or drink for each 6 hour shift. If the volunteer is a member of a participating German society, the society will also receive a contribution based on total number of volunteer hours.
BE A VOLUNTEER, help keep German traditions alive and introduce a whole new generation to the German culture of today and traditions of yester year.
