Guten Tag liebe Freunde und zukünftige Freunde vom German Fest!

We are excited to announce that this years’ 41st German Fest will be held on Friday, July 28th – Sunday July 30th, 2023 at the Henry Maier Festival Park. This years’ fest will include Schuerzenjaeger from Austria, STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® and Jägermeister as the “Official Shot.”

We are currently seeking businesses and corporate sponsors who are interested in promoting their company/brand and show your German pride. We are known as North America’s largest German festival with an average attendance of 75,000 per year. 

The festival occupies the world-renowned Henry Maier Festival Park in downtown Milwaukee, WI. It is a 3-day event, complete with over 50 vendors in our Marktplatz, food concessions, children’s area, culture pavilion, and 5 stages of non-stop entertainment!

Friday is our coveted Opening Ceremonies where we honor our active and retired military and have the official keg tapping to open the fest, O’zapft is! Join us on Saturday for our amazing and colorful parade along the grounds and lakefront and enjoy the different costumes, music and of course, Fritzi, the official mascot of German Fest! Enjoy the and pick your favorite to win the Dachshund Derby and wiener dog costume contest on Sunday.

STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®, an international extreme sports competition series is back at the BMO Harris Pavilion! Today the world’s best athletes compete in national and international events featuring three axe disciplines and three sawing disciplines. This is taped and televised at a later date.
